Right you Apple aficionados, I have a problem and need your help.

I have recently dusted off my old iPod mini (Yeah, I know it's old) and decided to load it on my laptop. Except that I can't. I get the message telling me that it is already synced with another computer - my old PC - which is no longer in use.

How do I get this to work on the laptop?

    Thanks

First i’m going to assume you have some music on that ipod you don’t want to lose , so try first transferring everything from it your pc , try using SharePod (http://www.getsharepod.com/)

Next you authorise you PC on the Itunes
if you click on store at the top (where file, edit controls and all that is) the menu will drop down and you should see Authorize Computer there...

Thanks for that Fat_Fingers. Yeah, I have music on there I want to keep. I'll try all this at home later. :)

no prob, just make sure you copy your music off it first as once you authorise Itunes when it goes to sync it will wipe it clean . But then you can transfer your music back on it
