    Hi!

me and the gf are looking to go to go away for a week next week and was thinking the canary islands!

    We both love sun!:D

Were are in our 20s and like chilling and rambling around towns, not really into the whole clubbing scene but dont wanna go anywhere to quiet either!

we seen 2 hotels, one in costa adeje and the other in puerto rico!

I was just wondering what these places are like! is there much to do etc...

    thanks:)

I'm in my late 20's now but I've been to the Bahia Principe Hotel in Costa Adeje in Tenerife about 4 times in the last 6 years as it's a great All Inclusive package.

The Costa Adeje area is a little quite compared to the center of Playa Las Americas, but as you said your not looking for lots of clubbing etc. Having said that you'll find plenty to do in the area nice walks etc and always plenty of day trips to various theme parks/zoo's/whale watching etc.

You'd be about a 15 mins taxi ride from Playa Las Americas anyway so if you want to go in for some shopping and a look about its very easy to get to with a nice walk along the prom all the way down to Los Cristianos too which is a nice area too.

Can't comment on puerto rico though ;)

may I ask how much u pay for that all inclusive package?

How far is los cristianos from costa adeje?

As I said All I want is a relaxing holiday, soak up the sun and chill!

Have u been in Sept? If so, whats the weather like?

Is there a choice of shops and restaurants in Costa Adeje?

    thanks for ur help!:)

i have been to both places 3 times.costa adeje is lovely,as the op says you can walk the prom from one resort to the next.las americas is more lively for clubbers.great trip to mount tiede.los cristionas is also lovely.puerto rico is really based in two shopping centres,no prom as such.

Funny you should ask about September, every year I have gone it has been in september as it's my Fiance's Birthday then ;)

Weather has always been fantastic, temps usually averaging 25-30C so its hot but not unbearably hot.

With regards to the cost it has varied over the years, first year we went it was €650 pp for a week and last year it had gone up to around the €800 pp mark I think. It's totally worth it though for what you get there. If you were so inclined you could stay at the bar sipping champagne/cocktails all day long, but honestly the food is great and always a large choice of dishes for breakfast lunch and dinner, or you can get snacks (burgers, chips, pizza) at the snack bar through out the day so there is something for everyone.

Los Cristianos is about a 15-20min taxi ride away and as I said already you have a lovely walk along the prom all the way up by Playa Los Americas too so worth doing at some stage.

The reason we keep going back there is that it's the kind of place that if you want a quite sun holiday lazing by the pools (and they have 3 big ones) you can (also and small sandy cove right next too the hotel) or if you want to get out and be active you'll find lots to do so it's got a bit of everything for everyone. Plus as it's all inclusive, you can literally go on holiday and bring €200 for a couple of day trips during the week and you don't need money for anything else....unless your a shopaholic ;)
