From a female perspective you made the right choice. I think a shaved head looks much better than a receeding hairling or the dreaded combover. Wise choice OP!

Hold on. You're doing what? "Shav", "Save" or what your head??

no, cos I don't want to look like a bouncer <MOD EDIT: Some comments removed from this post after the thread was moved from AH to this less 'lax' forum of F&A> .

I'm 29 and the little baldy patch appeared some years ago, I had short harir anyway so wasn't overly bothered. About two years ago started to shave it all round really tight, now I mach 3 it twice a week. Much better, I'd sooner have hair to be honest but embracing the baldness does make a statement. Nothing worse than the balby patch trying to be covered.

At least once every weekend when out someone asks am I Polish, last weekend a Polish lady asked, turned out she is here with her Scottish boyfriend and knows no Polish folk in Ireland. Apparently shaved head is popular amongst Polish chaps.

OK grammer hounds, we get it, yore language use is purfect and the OP is'nt'. Now add to the discussion rather then just skoring points.

OP if you want a POLL thread you should start one. Advice and instructions can be found in the Newbie/FAQ forum.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Like most things it depends on the person. Some guys can pull off pink shirts, I can't. Some people look really good with certain types of glasses, some don't. Some people really suit a shaved head. If you're tanned and have a half decent build it might work. If you're skinny, pale or have a funny shaped cranium then no. Probably better just to stick with a short haircut or go the finasteride route (presuming you're just at the beginning stages).

If they're just car-parks (think Jude Law) then you shouldn't necessarily feel the driving urge to shave your head... it may look fine and just add an element of maturity.

OP, post a pic so we can decide does it suit or not :)
This is me after a few mins with a mach 3, as you can see I'm not tanned or particularly well built.

    question for the "skin-heads" :D

I shave my head every two weeks with a cheap barbers shaver (where you fit the depth of cut attachments) - bare blade and it's nice and tight.

Is there another way - instead of the above shaver - like a beard shaver with settings to use on my head.
I just find the shaver a pain in the backside.

    Anyone use anything else ???

    K
