i'm looking to spruce up my internal doors: Does anyone know of any products that i can use besides varnish or stain, that can bring the grain back out in the wood and maybe give it a shine (its already been varnished years back, i can sand it no problem). Thanks.

Sand with extreme care, the veneer is wafer thin and unless u sand it all the same consistency the cure will be worse than the disease.
