NCT Test Money Back

    Hi My Wife Booked her Car NCT Test back in May and the first appointment available was for today 25/8/10 that was three Months i heard that she can claim her money back because of the long time it took for the test...
    Can any one help me on this or come across any one that claimed their Money Back Cheers .:):):):):):):):):):)

    i waited 3 months aswell, i didnt mention that when i went for the test,

    as far as i know if they cannot offer you any test date within 4 weeks they will give you a free test, but if they give you a date when you ring them it still €50,
    there are huge threads on the a few pages back!

    Yeah you're entitled to get a free test. The same thing happened me actually and i rang the NCT helpline the day before my test and was told that I'd have to pay at the test centre and then apply for a refund after. When I went for the test then though, the guy in the office said that it was coming up on screen as a free test so I ended up paying nothing on the day:)

    i give up, i have heard 2 sides of the story 1000 times,
    i was just glad to get a date!, retest on friday:(

    Same here, went to pay for it and the guy said it was marked as free, paid nothing.
