Learner Permit application form out of date?

    Hey, I'm just about to apply for my first learner permit. I have the form(D.201) but it's dated Feburary '07. Has there been any changes to the form since then? Should I pick up a new one?

    I'd get a new one. I'm not even sure if there were Learner Permits back then, as opposed to Provisional Licences. That aside, there may be differences in the form.

    If you go to your motor tax office, they will be just sitting there - you won't need to queue up or anything. In Dundalk there are LP and Full Licence application forms outside the door of the test centre also.

    the only difference in the form is the word provisional has been replaced with the word permit.

    they will accept it.
