    Hi guys,

I am looking for a used racer, preferrably with lightweight aluminium frame, shifters 105 (+/- that grade), frame size 56. I am 5'9, so that should fit. Budget is about €450, but can go higher with right bike. I am not interested in the trek ocr type racer with dropped crossbar frame. I would look at the brand new bikes in the 450 range online, but i am riding a Dawes 300 which is the same spec, looking to trade-up.

    thanks in advance.

I've had a look on the lapierre site, not a bad bile. It retailed for €700 in '09 so €550 is a bit steep i reckon for it. I'd offer €450 for it. Can you send some pics of it please. How many K's are on it?

Hi the bike has been upgraded to Shimano 105 full groupset and the wheels are also upgraded to Pro lite wheels that cost me 280 euro

so its a well priced bike i think

Im also looking for a size 56 road bike. Won't be paying more than 400 but not concerned about components. An entry level bike with the cheapest shimano components will do (it's all in the legs lads). It'll mostly be used for the turbo in winter with the odd weekend spin.
