I just found this thread while looking for the pic of your gwp.
Does it work and how do I find it. I have an iPhone but I never bought an app.
    Next question.
Where did you get your gwp.
Did you train him your self.
And did you look for a blood line with deer tracking history or do they all have it and just need training to bring it out

    Cheers

And on your other thread you asked about the fps quoted on the box and actual fps measured by chronograph
I don't have a .300 win mag but I tested my .308 yesterday and it averaged at 2656fps and the figure on the box is 2785fps

heres the link to the site I bought the app from.. Its easy to use, has hundreds of loads in it and you can also put in a hand load if thats your thing!
As regards the GWP he actually belongs to my cousin, I have his sister but she is in heat at the moment.. They came from a friend who has both dog and bitch, no major pedigree just good working stock. They are only 15 months old and my bitch has no interest in work or deer yet.. The dog in the photo tho is already pointing and attacking dead deer..
Ive never trained one till now but its a very slow process compared to labs or springers but they are great fun! Hopefully my bitch will come good :)
