Running for charity

Just wondered what people think about this, i've run in the past for charity but long long time ago. But was approached in the last week about doing an event for charity, think its the 3rd of 4th time in the last year or 2 that I've said no. Main reason is that i'm not planning on running a spring marathon next year.

So just got me thinking what would be a real challenge over a shorter distance that you could raise money for charity?

I think for me a sub 5:30 mile would take a lot more work then a marathon would but don't think this would bring in any $$$ for charity...

Yep but what about a Tunney IM charity ;) we only pay if you hit sub 9 hours ... Think thats worth a bit of cash more then a 5 hour marathon
