Thinking of heading for a last minute trip to nyc.
    • anyone know what is the latest i can leave it for booking a flight on line? (ie. if i decide to fly on a sunday, is friday night the cut off?).
    • Can i just turn up at dublin airport on saturday and buy return flights at the desk?
    • What about the ESTA thing? can i just do that now or do i need to have flight number etc first?
    thanks

    1. Aerlingus.com has no problems in selling me a flight for tomorrow from Dublin to JFK.

    2. I reckon you could still do that, yes. I've booked flights (though not to the USA) at airport desks only hours before the flight. Be prepared to sell a kidney to pay for for such short-notice though. I wouldn't be surprised though if such a request gained attention from customs/security.

    3. No reason why you shouldn't do the ESTA after having read this reply :)
