it seems impossible to meet someone who are just interested in dressing & being friends.

There are people who cd and aren't in it for the jollies, you just haven't met them. Perhaps if you started the post asking how to meet CD/TG people to just hang out with and dress with without sex being involved you might meet those people.

For one, the Dragon and Panti bar are good places to start. There is a Trans/TG meet up group that goes on - it used to be in Dragon on a Saturday but for the life of me I'm not sure where it is now.

The Gemini club is probably a bit more about 'sex' but I've been there once and it was a fairly mixed crowd actually...

The Gemini club (on a Friday night) is about meeting other girls in a relaxed atmosphere. Trannie Haven (on a Saturday night) is more like the atmosphere in a pub. Like in any pub, sometimes people meet and hit it off. Most of the time, though, that doesn't happen.

It's sort of hard to tell isn't it?
I mean, I've gone to all these places but always with mates and with the aim to socialize and have a bit of a laugh and we always have just that.

But saying you need to have mates to go make mates is a bit circular. Just go out to the hot spots and be friendly I guess, I've met many a cd/tg/ts person that way.

I have CD'ed a few times for Hallowe'en and the likes, a night of fun for a party and for a laugh. But I do have to admit I did kind of enjoy it on another level. I would like to try CD sometime in private at home, just for an evening to see how I feel. I certainly wouldn't find it a sexual turn on to be dressed as a woman whilst having sex or to have sex with a CD'er but there's something about dressing up in female clothes that I find, well, appealing I suppose is the word. I don't think I would ever do it in a social setting or go out to a bar dressed as a woman. If I had a friend or two who felt the same way about it as I did I would much rather enjoy a drink at home and getting dressed up for a night in or something like that. Sadly, the only CD'ers I have found online in my area haven't been back on their profiles for months so I can't get in contact with them.

it is great to dress in female clothes & be able to just relaxe.i do look forward to those times.
most evenings i "dress". not always fully, i might only wear a skirt & shirt.
whatever i wear the feeling is the same whenever i change from my male attire into female attire.

I love dressing in womens clothesbut the sex part of it doesn't interest me as im not gay.

The Friday night meeting in the Dragon ended quite some time ago... I used to organise it... but there are other things on now. The Baby Doll Ball in June was good craic and we are hoping to do another one... Gemini club on Friday night is another quiet sort of place...
