    Hi there :)

I've passed the occupational first aid FETAC 5 exam about 3 months ago when i used to work for some company and was told that my cert. will be issued in around couple months due to long queue there. Unfortunately i've lost my job recently and wondering now if i'm still entitled to get that certificate?

Thanks for any help with this.

Yes you are - contact FETAC - www.fetac.ie by email and give them all your details and ask if the cert hasnt been sent out to send it to you directly.

Wouldn't that matter that i lost my job and don't work for company which actually paid for the course?

    Regards

If you have passed your occupational first aid FETAC course then you are entitled to receive the cert. FETAC will not care what your working relationship is now with the company who paid for the course. It has nothing to do with them.

Right, so all that i do is to mail them in "contact us" section and give them new address? Will i state that i am not employee of such and such company anymore?

    You can do!
You are entitled under Health and Safety Law to receive your certificate, contact the company/FETAC and ask them for it .
