Pretty sweet, bit gloriously imparactical imagine parking down a street with that wingspan!

Pity it's not amphibious and submarinable as well, then it would be really sweet.
    Is there a Hybrid version?

What's the point of a 4-seater with a max payload of 1,000lbs? Once you add in things like 'gear' or 'body armour' that fourth guy ain't going to be sitting in the vehicle.

Interesting theory, mind, aerodynamically, but I don't see it as being practical any time soon. Either make a good 4x4 or a good helicopter, don't try to mix it.

Besides, the military's tried this before. Several times. They all flew, but were in practice utterly useless. No reason it should be any more successful this time around...

Fleep. (The Seep was the amhibious Sea Jeep, so obviously the Flying Jeep is the Fleep)

Avrocar (Bet the Roswell crowd loved this one)

HZ-1 Aerocycle (I'm sorry, but there has to be some sort of health and safety regulation against this one.. "Whoops It rained, and he slipped off the platform")

And my personal favourite, the A-40. (Why develop a new ground vehicle which can fly? Just strap wings to a tank)

Who would have ever thought they'd have a plane that took off like a helicopter or a helicopter that could be converted into a plane, but they did that with the V22 Osprey.
