Hi, just wondering is the premed course at UCD compulsory or are students offered a choice as to whether or not they want to do it? Also, is it true that they are planning on phasing the premed course out in the next few years? Thanks

For most people its compulsory but some are asked if they want to just go into 1st med. In my opinion its a great year with some but little work so you can learn about university before the next 5 years.
I havn't heard if they are going to cancel it but from what people say about gouing straight into 1st med they could do so
