The lifts operate on the first to get your stuff up, after that just lie about back injuries, football injuries etc. to try them working! =P
Sound monitors....being honest I think that's a load of bs! I lived there last year and there were parties etc, no one ever came to tell us to shut up! In the first week they'll be pretty strict to try and frighten ye about rule enforcement etc, and during rag week they are very strict about guests, but after that it's grand!

So are they strict with guest? Like do you have to sign them in and do they really make them leave at like 11??!

Short answer, no. Ive passed out there more than a few times back in my undergrad days ;)

No, you don't have to sign them in, nor do they check! Just during Rag week, oh wait...."college week"..., you have to fill out forms for your guests, they check at the gate!

Cool, good to know that they aren't strict with guests staying. Was thinking those noise sensors would only be there more so for show than anything else.

Just wondering because my friend went up yesterday and she's rooming with all girls. Hey maybe we're roomies. :p
