Internet Tetering Iphone 4 on Three

If I enable Internet Tethering and select USB connecition the Iphone USB network adapter is recognised in my Network settings on a Power book running Snow Leopard. However, it states that it is NOT CONNECTED.

"Either the cable for iPhone USB is not plugged in or the device is not responding."

However, the phone is recognised in ITunes, syncs perfectly.

Anybody got any ideas how to enable this?

Apparantly Internet Tethering is working on Three for some board members.

    Thanks for your help.

I get this issue as well, and it's sort of annoying how the popup shows up EVERY SINGLE TIME I plug the iPhone in.

Just to add my two cents. I tried on Win 7 laptop with USB tethering and the network connections show 2 connections. My own WiFi & a Local Area Connection. Both were connected and working fine. iPhone 4 with 3 ireland
