    Selling my JG AUG A3.

Purchased about a year ago new. Only skirmished 5 times. A few scratches but in good condition.

2 high cap mags and a 1100 mah 8.4v battery included.

Firing at 328 fps with .2g BB.

Only firing on full auto but read is common issue and fixable, i just dont have the skills to repair it.

This does not have the MOSFET as supposed to be included in AUG A3 spec, dont know why JG did not fit it into this one.

    Brilliant range and ROF.

    Asking €150

    Need cash, no trades.

I know, but I will have to spend anoother 20-30 on it to get the gearbox and selector looked at.

Offer stands if you change your mind

I'm not actually sure I'll take it. I have a thread up looking for a SCAR and I got an offer of one. If you get semi working, and I get no SCAR by Monday, I would offer the full 150 of asking

If i did not have such bad luck opening gearboxes i could sort this, all it is is a contact that engages for semi to be pushed in a little.

Iv just had a friend re-shim it and put in a new spring so i really dont want to open it up. :(

You shouldnt have to...a worn trigger is a reccuring problem in all AUG's, its a waste of money trying to fix it as the end result will be the same

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,752 ✭✭✭DeBurca

Can I ask just what part of Cork are you in, its a big county

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 499 ✭✭Beez

    ???

You did not show any interest in buying it just made a comment that it was pretty much unfixable which is a a load of rubbish and is not going to help my sale.

I would not have posted on this had i not been interested...

Well why not make an offer or ask a question about the AEG instead of commenting about what you were told from a user of one.

No its all stock but its a good performer. I had a charger with ill see if i can dig it out. Its a rubbish trickle charger though would suggest in getting a smart charger.

Did not mean to jump down throat it just seemed you had signed up to the forum just to mention that the trigger was unfixable which does not help sale. :)

Its firing at just under 1 Joule so all legal. Range would be average M16/AUG 328fps range. I would have to do some tests as i have not shot it at range since new spring and hop-up rubber were installed recently. If you want it to be more accurate a tightbore barrel would be needed.

Just for my part can ya try it out and see how it is now?

while your doin that i can check my funding...

Any way you would either go down in price or take care of the p&p?
