    Hi

Just noticed this http://www.aldi.ie/ie/html/offers/special_buys3_13849.htm on the specials in Aldi on Thursday. I could use a garden vacuum unit although the area will not be huge, and this looks like good value with the 3 year warranty. Wondering if anyone has used one and how they got on with it?

Was looking at this myself. I have several areas of shrubs with slate mulch stones around them, everytime I cut the grass I get a lot of grass in the stones around the shrubs, wonder if I could use this to suck them up and leave the stones. What kind of pull does these things have.

Seen those advertised alright. I've no expierience of those ones in particular but i will say i bought one of these recently...http://www.amazon.co.uk/FLYMO-FLGV2700-Flymo-Garden-2700/dp/B001LNNPZW.....which is actually 200W stronger than the Aldi one. The vac is really crap on it TBH and the so called 'shredder' is worse! But the blower is excellent. Thats just my pennys worth-bear in mind the one i got is a Flymo (supposed good quality?) and stronger than Aldi one so personally i'd say all you're buying is a good blower? I could be wrong though! :)

Exactly my experience (I think my one was a Flymo too). Good as a blower, forget the vac.
