yeah it is, i think its somethin like a euro for 50mb and then a euro for every mb afterwards

O2 aren't much use for iPhone on prepay. As said 50mb limit per day for 99c. Go over that and you could be looking at large bills. Three have ok data add on options. Currently €5 for 500mb I believe. Some people have problems with iPhone on three though so try out a sim for a few days.

You should have a look outside boards, people all over the world are having problems.
I've an iPhone on 3 and the only problems I can find are with the phone not the network anyone who was on 3 before the iPhone knows it's the iPhone at fault.

Then why isn't there a thread with 1000 comments from O2 and Vodafone customers with iPhone issues on those networks?

    Vodafone 360

12.00 odd for 100mb per day use remainder of top up for calls/texts
30 euro top up gives you 36
    Free vodafone calls

But there is issues and there are threads about Vodafone problems and on the 02 forums. Do a bit of google'n and you'll find them problems right across the globe as well as Ireland.
Just because there's a thousand posts didn't meen there are a thousand comments with problems. The 3 should be removed from the title of the iPhone problem thread and then you'll see the Voda & 02's come out of the woodwork.

I have had the iP4 since launch in the UK, it has been on O2 and Vodafone. Not experienced one problem, yet.

I warned people not to go to 3 but was laughed at.

It is a shame to see you becoming the bitter man of the Apple forum because you think there is a problem with the iP4 and not 3.:(

If you want to stay on PAYG and have some half decent data plan I would suggest Meteor. Vodafone have a data plan of sorts for PAYG customers but they only have 3G and GPRS not Edge.

i have an iphone 3gs my OH got the iphone 4 yesterday, we are both on Vodafone payg and have no hassle,

price wise on Vodafone we spend €20 a month on credit and qualify for free calls and text...at a point in july i had over €60 credit built up because all my calls are to Vodafone numbers, and i'm always in a wifi spot! if you use 3g its 99c a day for 50mb (same as o2 i think)

although i think if you check it out for €30 a month with Vodafone payg you now get data included, and its still cheaper than bill...

reception is better then when i was on meteor (but i didn't have the iphone 3gs then)

yeah, I followed that thread for a while before I switched to three, but I also tried out the network for myself for a week before I switched. For me, and my wife, three works better than o2. I know that's not true for everyone. Best advise is to try out a sim for a week and see how it performs where you will be using it most; home, work, college etc.

Seems if im not constantly in a wifi spot ill be spending at least 99c a day anyhow for data- so im looking at the o2 40euro bundle with 2gb a month and 200 mins and 100 text- looks like the most competitive plan out there

i'm using an unlocked iphone on Meteor and it costs me no more than €20 a month top-up. I chose the free messages to meteor phones and free internet, works a charm!

I'm using an unlocked iPhone and I'm on 02 experience and I have to say I hate it.
I was going to switch to bill pay but as a student going to college I wouldn't be able to afford it.
Why is it that it must be a must to top up 20e pe month for free txt internet etc. Why can't it be 10e pe month then well get half a deal.
    Lol
