Most hospitals are charging for tea now (which they are supposed to provide for free according to HSE rules). I know this might come off as something very minor but its just to show that hospitals nowdays are just out to make money wherever they can.

The whole HSE is a joke in this contry. You just need to look at who's running it and you start to get what the joke's about.

Its quite ridiculious alright. I was stung for 100 quid last year in a car park in Catletroy where there is a bank and an adjoining accountancy practice. Won't say any more than that to reveal the name of the premises but I'm sure that those from and familiar with the area won't be scratching their heads guessing. Hadn't left the car for 5 minutes but it was on. Reason being that I was a bank customer and had parked in one of accountancy firms spots. There was a raft of other parking spaces belonging to the accountancy practice vacant at the times. Anybody familiar with the premises will realise the amount of parking spaces the bank have is a bit of a joke.

Seemingly the clamping firm rent the parking spaces of the accountancy practice and operate the clamping system. It smacks of poor business acumen to me, particulary for an accounting practice which ain't exactly in the middle of town. Well, rant over for the day. ah well, you learn by your mistakes.

Was it clamped for being parked in a non designated space or for not having a ticket displayed?

I fail to see why people should be allowed to break whatever rules are in place in a car park just because it's in a hospital.

Pay parking in hospitals exists because yes it makes money for the hospital but also because people are such ignorant selfish ****ers and cant be trusted not to take the complete piss.

it was parked as i said in the cancer center unit, to gain admission one has to have the barrier lifted by an employee pushing a button, it was parked correctly in a designated parking space, ie it was not taking up 2 spaces. also one does not have to pay to park in that section of the grounds

Theres obvioulsy some criteria for parking there or they wouldnt need or use clampers.

yes there is one is either recieveing radiotheraphy, or one is supplying a service, this part of the grounds is a hell a a distance away from the main hospital, the usual out of sight out of mind syndrome.
