Threes awful customer service

    I got my Iphone 4 three weeks ago from Three online. Ever since I've been trying to port my number from Meteor bill pay.

    After a week of calls to their customer service my number was half ported over, receiving everything on my old sim and sending everything from my Iphone.

    Its been 2 weeks since then, calling them nearly everyday and getting the same empty promise of it being fixed in the next 24hrs.

    I've rang so many times I sometimes get the same person who promised it would fixed, when I tell them they told me the same thing a couple days ago they quickly fob me off to another operator.

    At the start they blamed Meteor, so I rang Meteor and they said they approved porting on the 4th of August.

    So here's my questions:
    Is anybody having similar issues?
    Is there any other number I can ring, where they can actually do something?
    Will calling into a Three shop help or will they just tell me to ring 1913?

    I had the same problem switching from Meteor to 3 a number of years ago.

    Eventually I got on to Meteor who could look at theis logs and see what was happening.

    The problem basically was there was a data mismatch between the details in Meteor and Three and they could not identify the accounts were linked.

    This was due I think to the fact that I had an account with 2 phones with Meteor.

    Might be worth ringing Meteor as their lads seemed very good :)

    Would it be worth contacting Three and saying you want to leave them as they have not successfully fulfilled their side of the contract, i.e. porting over the number. Then port back and get the phone with Meteor :)

    this above is very telling. the only way for you to find this out would be to have both phones on with both simes in it. thats fine for a minute or two, but NOT GOOD if left on all the time. if you have both phones on all the time the port will take much longer to complete, if ever! I hope you havent however, because if you did have both phones on, then the main culprit with the delay has been you! granted three havent helped, but how were they to know?

    Why not call into a 3 store, they should be able to help you
