Should i bother applying for the grant?

I have the grant form and everything else, the p60s, p21s, and other stuff but i have been to college already. Done a level 7 course 6 years ago, and this time round im doing a level 5. One of the rules is i have to be doing a course higher than what i already have i.e. a level 8. Is it worth even applying for the grant…
