as a matter of interest, who enforces production software piracy?

If you get snared with cracked software (assuming we're talking about a commercial entity, taking money for producing money), is it the company who made the software product that can sue you or a regulatory body or what?

In London, people used to sell DVDs of cracked software outside a few of the markets.

    Blew my mind.

to satisfy your curiosity...you're way off.

and anyway, if someone was committing a crime, I'm not sure posting a thread on a public forum relating to that crime would be very clever.

anyways, like I said, you're way off.

and the question related to people using cracked software (specifically DAWs), not selling it.

EDIT: and for further clarification, I don't, nor do I have any intention of owning a cracked DAW.

    - just in case someone else wants to put 2 + 2 together and come up with me, on Moore St, with a cart full of cracked Protools...

Curiosity for one. Threads, conversations and articles about cracked software are relatively common. The recent Waves plug in case is a ground breaking one as well so it perfectly fine to ask who actually regulates this side of the industry.
