Well I have a friend who loves stuff like maths and history and knows lots of useless snippets but my drinking friends who like to talk about porn and farts are probably more intelligent.

He could wipe the floor with me.
At the time of his leaving (he was 16), he got the highest marks in the country.
By 23 he was teaching physics/mathematical subjects at Trinity, Dublin, as a professor.
He was shortly then snapped up and shipped off to Florida where he's well looked after.

Oh that depends,I know a good few people who are Anoraks in their own right and can hold great conversation about anything but don't think there the most intelligent I know. I'd say its the other half, she know's everything and is ALWAYS right too! ;-)

I'm pretty sure you have to be an American citizen to work directly for NASA? (I've looked into it before)

Maybe so now but definitely not at the time of him being offered the position. Also there are exceptions to every rule and if the American agencies want someone bad enough with appropriate skills, they can sort through the current present day rules to suit.
But I suspect he by now has American naturalisation by default.
He's married to an American woman and has a number of children.

(By the way, one town that we went to was "Rockledge".
A short distance from the base, the town is home to a great number of non-Americans who work for NASA in a number of roles.)

He's a lucky man so, I may have to settle for the ESA :D

My economics teacher has photographic memory. He can also tell what teacher is walking outside (with the door closed) by the sound of their footsteps. And he's such a funny cnut, I dont think anyone has ever came out on top in any sort of argument with him, and believe me I've tried!

    Bit loopy though...

My dad - not only did he earn a scholarship to go into third level education because his parents had no money at all - he went on to get two first class degrees and a PhD. More impressively he can still remember all the formulae and expressions from his studies, off the top of his head he helped me with a degree level physics assignment. He retired at 50 and promptly did a degree in psychology because my mum was menopausal and acting a bit nuts. :pac:
