Facebook App not working

    I have a 3GS running 4.0.1 and after updating the Facebook App, it has stopped working.

    At first I couldnt load anything within the app, no walls or live feeds etc. So I uninstalled and then reinstalled and now I can't login. It keeps saying "Cannot connect to Facebook, please try again later".

    I have since reinstalled a few times but no luck. Is anyone else experiencing this?

    what version is it, there was a problem with 3.2 with bitesms and iphonedelivery but 3.2.2 fixed it

    I couldnt log in today on the iphone kept telling me my password was incorrect or it was unavailable- but could log in find on the laptop

    There is an issue with 3.2 alright, once you upgrade it to 3.2.2 all works fine

    Thanks very much, I have iPhone delivery so that's the problem.

    Hopefully a fix for Facebook is available soon

    When I go to Updates in the App store it's not telling me I need to update Facebook though. Should I assume I have the latest? If so, why can't I login? :confused:

    In your settings menu scroll down to facebook. On the facebook menu it will tell you what version. Newest is 3.2.2

    Have you deleted iphonedelivery ??

    I had to delete it completely. Log in to facebook then. Then reinstall iphonedelivery. Updating facebook to newest version while iphonedelivery was still installed didn't fix it.

    Also I stay logged into facebook permanently so have not had to try and log in since. I was logged in when I reinstalled iphonedelivery.

    My iphone4 is not jailbroken but the new update isnt functioning properly,chat keeps logging out etc,anyone able to help??

    Yeah. I have noticed a few hiccups with the new update also. I can't really see them being iPhone problems though. Seem to be problems with the app itself.

    When I except a new friend the +1 is still showing and often notifications are not appearing in the bottom bar. Haven't tried the chat function yet.

    Anybody use the camera plus app to upload photos to facebook ? This used to post directly to facebook wall, now it seems to send them to camera plus album direct, where unless people happen to look at album , they won't see the new photo ?

    use pixelpipe to upload them directly to the wall or else just use the fb app to upload them

    Bumped this cause I see in another thread someone mentioned facebook problems with notifications etc. Been having that problem about 2 weeks since last update.
    Good news. Update out today seems to have rectified the problems. Seems to be working an awful lot better.

    Yeah it was you :). Same here for me. No badges or badges after I had already added people etc. Notifications not showing or only showing when I came out of app. Seems much better now after today's update
