Removing Window Tint - How much?

    Anybody any idea how much it would cost to remove window tints or anywhere that would do it? Would a place that applies tint neccesarily remove it too? As far as Im aware its the film thats heat gunned on.

    i was able to just remove mine myself and then gave the windows a good clean with hot soapy water and windowleen!

    As above, start in the corner and try to pull as much in one piece as you can. Don't pull it the whole way off though, just leave it hanging at the end. Then use warm soapy water and a small blade for the stubborn area's. The glue will then fall off and get caught on the tint that is left hanging so it will save you having to hoover the car then too!! :D

    Also, if you need to remove any glue left over or anything like that on the glass, Holtz Tar & General Spot Remover is excellent for it.

    Thanks for the replies, I wouldnt have to remove the window the get it all off would I?

    nope i you do it as explained by other post it will be able to come off with out the window!! fairly easy and saves money!!:D
