    Damn you anyway! :pac:

Rumack: You'd better tell the Captain we've got to land as soon as we can. This woman has to be gotten to a hospital.
Elaine Dickinson: A hospital? What is it?
Rumack: It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now.

I'm cheating a bit because these quotes are from the second move but still:

Black man giving evidence in the courtroom:

Man, that dude was ooowwn. Didn't trip, but the folks was freakin. He landed that thang like a mother...... sheeet.

    Lawyer cross-examining a Psychologist:

Lawyer: Doctor, can you give me your impression of Mr. Riker?
Doctor: I'm sorry, my training is in psychology, I don't do impressions.

    Quality quality movies.

Ted Striker: My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow. We're bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 1800 hours. We're coming in from the north, below their radar.
Elaine Dickinson: When will you be back?
Ted Striker: I can't tell you that. It's classified.

There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

Rumack: What was it we had for dinner tonight?
Elaine Dickinson: Well, we had a choice of steak or fish.
Rumack: Yes, yes, I remember, I had lasagna.

I remember seeing this the first time as a kid. I was literally crying laughing at the end when Striker was landing the plane. Absolutely classic movie. The 2nd one has some great moments in it as well. Shatner's character is too funny.

i remember in the second movie, when yer man walks up to the computer screen on the wall, turns the dials and tunes in the reception to talk to Shatner's character, Tells him that the shuttle is in trouble, then shatner opens the door and the computer screen turns out to be a window.
I nearly died laughing when i saw that first :pac:

Darn I missed the 30th birthday but 2 years ago I had the pleasure of re-watching this in a cinema. The cinema usually plays a classic movie every wednesday night but its rarely busy, this time however it was packed and they had to rerun it another night so more could see it. One of the best cinema pleasures I have had!

This happened when it was first released too. People going to see it multiple times just to catch all the gags.

Don't know how many times I watched this and Top Secret! as a child. Classics!
