    Hi!

Anyone have any information on classes of any kind in Carlow town!
I'm looking to join asap! I've googled and came across 2 places but haven't had a reply yet, and that was yesterday, maybe someone has some other info for them?

    Thank you

Anything in particular. There's Muay Thai out in Bagenalstown and Athy BJJ has a Carlow IIRC.

Sean Dillon runs the Carlow Muay Thai Club in Bagenalstown. You can contact him at irishmuaythaicouncil@gmail.com [He's the President of the IMC]

for Athy BJJ you can ring Mick Aldridge at 0860841073

    I hope this helps.

If you talk to the college there are a few clubs that do classes there as well as in their own clubs. Wing Tsun in particular jumps to mind with a really friendly instructor who really knows his stuff. Can't think of his name off the top of my head but the girls in the Barrow Centre in the IT will have all his details

    Thanks a million, very helpful!

I presume they all take new members? I'm extremely shy and nervous about it, what can i expect?

I've honestly never been in a Martial art club that wasn't friendly. All of them are very welcoming. Remember, even the head guy started somewhere.

Just let them know you're interested and have fun :)
