    Hi Guys,

I work a Full time job and i have started a small business.
I started this business in may 2009.

Is it this october that i need to fill in my tax forms?
How does it work when i pay tax in my full time job and file tax returns on my small business.
This small business has not made much profit yet as its still in setup stage.

I would go to an accountant but i dont have the time to visit one during normal business hours and there is no reception in the building im in to Phone one.

Does any one know of an accountant that works after hours (IE after 5pm or 6pm) that i could get in touch with for assistance?

    Yes

You are taxed on your total income for 2009, less any tax that you have already paid (in your case PAYE).

you don't actually have to file your first form 11 until October next year as you are in a commencement situation but the tax due is payable this October alright

Legend100 is correct. You file the return for accounts in Oct 11 and pay the prelim in Oct 2010.
