Anyone else having trouble sending text messages from Meteor ?

    W
Weird, SIM works fine in a Nokia

Message just stays at "Sending ..."

Can receive messages fine, they just won't send

Does anyone know how you can check the message center number on Android ?

    Working fine for me...

Strangely I couldn't find the message center number anywhere but in the default "messages" app (in settings).

Mine is set to +353857000000 if that helps

Happens to me occasionally. I just hit resend, tends to work second time but the recipient gets the message twice.

I'm using handcent on a desire.

OK, just tried to send another text - off it went and seemed to push the others through.
The only difference I can see is that I sent the last message from outside.

Couldn't find the setting for that number anywhere - running Froyo on an N1.

    Check SMSC settings on Android:

You can use the Test screen to set (and retrieve) the SMSC GT.

    Using the Dialer > *#*#4636#*#* (*#*#info#*#*)

From there you can select Phone info menu and scroll down to SMSC. Pressing refresh will show you the current SMSC setting. Or you can enter a valid number here and hit update.

    /T

Most informative - the number's fine.
