    Anyone been there?

How does it compare with Connemara or Kerry?

As beautiful; or less impressive? Is it 'busy'; lots of tourist buses?

Am thinking that with two young kids, a ferry to Wales and a 1 hr drive might be easier than trekking out west.

    Thanks.

Been there loads of times... very nice and plenty to do and lots to see... not sure about the boglands that you're talking about as I've not been there... but you'll have "proper" roads in Wales and not shell shocked back roads for access to almost anywhere.

    Very beautiful and very impressive.

Went to Yorkshire last year; certainly opened my mind to Britain as a holiday destination. Had a great time.

And if you plan on going up Snowdonia on the steam train book it on line, you'll be guaranteed to get on then when you expect to get on rather than having to wait.
