Just seen this in the CAO listings. I'm looking for courses that might interest my brother, hes doing the L.C next year and has no idea what do.

Does anyone know what this course is about?

    http://www.nuigalway.ie/faculties_departments/engineering/gy411_courseoutline.html

The course outline is standard enough engineering with sports labs thrown in. 3year course tho?

What kind of jobs would you get from this?

Dont know too much about the course but the job prospects would be developing equipment/clothing/apparal etc for increasing sports performance aswell as monitoring the effects of certain condition on an athlete.I'm sure he could get a job working for lucozade sport developing sprts drinks or underarmour or even get a job for a professional sports team as their sports advisor or whatever you wanna call it.
