I am looking for a place on the Upper Newcastle Road or there abouts as its near the creche and I cant drive(Yet)
Is anyone in the same boat that can give me any advice? thanks

Look on daft.ie (you can specify how many rooms and the area), galway advertiser , i see a good few 1/2 bed apartments up for rent though i don't know if they'd be a bit expensive and check out the student accommodation forum
don't worry about finding a place. there's still plenty of time (almost 3 weeks) although it may be a bit harder with a child
you could also look for a place across the river (it's only about a 10/15min into NUIG) on dyke road or in dun na coiribe.

You could contact the Students Union for advice too, I'm sure they've experience with parents going to college. Maybe the Welfare officer?
