m4 mag wont fit g&g raider

    ok im gonna try to explain this as best i can, i have an ics m4 and hi cap that came with it and i bought a battleaxe electric mag which works fine in the ics,
    but i bought a g&g raider the other day and for some reason it wont clip in,
    it fits in the magwell just wont stay in, i tried the original mag for the ics and that clipped in fine. i dont understand why the electric one wont fit. any help would be much appreciated. thanks

    Had the same problem with my G&G, I bought a 1000 round pmag from MIA, see link below, ended up having to sand down/off some of the mag before it would fit in, try pushing the mag in you will see the part thats giving resistance, its just below the hole that feeds the BBs into the gun, the front facing part of the mag.

    thanks donjose is there any chance you could upload a pic of your mag with the sanded bit, so i know where to sand for definate. just so i dont do somethin wrong. much appreciated if you can

    Here you go, you basically have to remove that ridge at the back of the magazine.
