Top class field at the Barclays this weekend. It's at Ridewood Coutry Club where it was held once before - in 2008. -8 won it that day, with Vijay coming through a 3 man playoff.

In this week's golf betting tips i'm going for the bangers:
    Main Tip
Angel Cabrera - 125/1 with Lads. It's a standout price so move before it evaporates.

    Other Tips
    Phil Mickelson - 12/1
    JB Holmes - 80/1

Good luck all and let me know who the hard earned pennies are going on.

with the course record being held by Hunter Mahan i'm thinking this is not a course the bombers can overpower,

It's the older experienced type that will do well here.

Justin Leonard and David Toms are both huge odds and full of confidence after the last few weeks. Both players worth a shout.

On the Euro Tour I've gone for Hanson. In short, he'll go out to solidify his place on the RC Cup team and after his win last week he'll no doubt be high on confidence.

Was very tempted by Gallagher and Havret as well have to add.

The two Rickies for me E/W in the Barclays...

    Barnes 125/1 & Fowler 80/1

Tiger having some start though... in to 7/2 in outright betting while I was in the bookies at lunch!!!

Totally forgot about this, Villegas is 18/1

Went with Leonard and Laird in the US and, as above Hanson in Europe.

    well done wiger :)

    dustin was shocking tonight..missed everything
even a level par round wouldve got me the place double
    with franceso.

when laird had that putt on the 18th to win he was 1.48 on betfair
but i couldn't get on fast enough to lay him.

Laird went as low as 1.1 on the 18th. He had like 16ft and would have won if he putted in 2.

i didn't know the above but i knew 1.58 would have been way too big,how much was matched at 1.1 do you know?

never even considered him not winning from there tbh.

id love know what was matched at this price.
im sure there was plenty matched at 1.48 though but
as usual i snoozed so i lose
he seemed to take that last putt for the win very quickly
and my broadband couldntn quite get me in on time yet
there i was watching the prices all nite changing and
    being logged out :o

    Well done dude, tops.

Unlucky HB, I usually always back Laird with decent stakes each way, I know nothing about Golf betting but he was always my one to follow, didn't back him this time due to forgetfulness. Would of had a decent return from the placing.

    Curtis at Bay Hill
Mickelson at Quail Hallow (not bothered about that)
Johnson at US Open (and Mickelson imploding too)
    Kaymer at French Open
McIlroy at Open (rushed the bet and forgot to put E/W)
    Watney at PGA
    Laird at Barclays

Who will it be next week for me!? :pac: Beyond a joke now this year.

Kudos to you Wiger for your win

jesus wtf, don't tell me you wern't on Overton,he would fit in nicely on that list after his meltdown
maybe this week we should put up a place only selection,i bet if you backed someone like Overton place only he'd go on to win,
