invisible repair for reverse light lens?

    01 fiesta. The reversing light lens has a very narrow vertical break right down its centre. Just visible but can be felt.

    Is there any way it can be 'invisibly' repaired. Could it be super glued for example. i googled kits that might do it but they cost probably as much as a new fitting, or from a scrapyard

    Repair needs to be good enough to keep moisture out and have it pass nct when time comes.

    Try motor factors. They might have a transparent tape.
    I know you can buy amber coloured tape for reparing an indicator lense. This tape repair is accepted by NCT if done properly.
