Lookin for feedback on the P4 exam in general.

I failed P6 today and only need one more option. Tax was so difficult I'm thinking of switching to P4 as already passed P5 and hated the earlier audit paper even though passed quite easily.

Just wondering what's the p4 examiners style are the exams fair If you put the work in or can they be overly difficult.

Want to be sure it's worth my while switching as I covered all main areas in tax but exam was just ridiculous and think might have better chance at P4

Yes, same with me here. I need an opinion from anyone about P4 considering I had F9 exempted. I am willing to work hard on the paper but do you know if it is still possible to pass it without F9 basic?? Please advise urgently. Thanks!

ive passed P4 already, but like yourself i failed P6 this time around too, im going to give it another shot as its my last one and im not trying to relearn another subject from scratch again. Personally, i think P4 and P6 are the two hardest options, and a good grounding in F9 is pretty useful too, however like all of these exams, with a bit of work they are all pretty passable...

I sat P4 in Dec and passed, I definitely found it by far the most difficult exam I have ever sat!

However as the previous poster stated, with A LOT of work it is doable.

I went to classes in BPP and the lecturer I had (Michael Barry) had an extremely good knowledge of the examiners style etc which helped a lot. I think the old examiner is being replaced this year though, not sure what sitting!
