Replacement iPhone 4 = 2nd free case

    I just received my replacement iPhone 4 after the first one bricked itself updating to 4.0.2. I rang Apple and they asked had I tried a few things such as a new cable etc which I had, so there response was to replace it.

    I had applied for my free Apple bumper the day the iPhone went on sale here (I got it up north). Still hasn't shipped though. However I had a thought. A new iPhone 4 means a new serial number, and the serial number is how the recognise what phone's are eligible for the free case. Tried to order a Speck PixelSkin HD just there and worked fine. So hoping for two cases in the post :D

    Another thing that surprised me was that even though I bought the phone up north, they replaced it by picking it up. Haven't heard anything about them changing their warranty procedure from only available where it was purchased.
