English Studies anyone?

Hi people. I'm here with a bit of a dilemma - to my great surprise I recieved an offer for English Studies at TCD today (after recieving my IB grades I'd been convinced there was no way I'd ever get in), but I'm not sure whether I should accept (due to a great place elsewhere).

I was hoping you guys could help me with this - could anyone tell me more or less what kind of modules/courses there are when reading English Studies, what you study during first/second year? I tried to find a handbook or something but there seem to be none available at the moment. Examples of past reading lists (and yes I have checked the long list of authors in the questions section already:P)? And if any of you are studying English - do you enjoy it? Is it worth it?

I'll be very greatful for any help and advice, my minds doing somersaults and going crazy with confusion right now. Thanks!
