    Im totally confused and worried about this,

    Is there a way to apply to get all fees payed or something, We are a very low income family and Im moving up to waterford as it is. Very worried

    Anyone here know?

    The €1500 would be covered by the grant, I'm sure your parents could claim back-to-school allowance still depending on your age. Outside of that you'll just have to rely on the grant every few weeks. If the grant is accepted you'll stand to recieve more because you're living in a different county. That being said, its worth giving the Student's Union or reception a ring to see what they can advise.

    You need to get onto your local VEC. They administrate grants in Ireland.

    Firstly, Im 17, So Surely thats young enough for the Back to School???

    and Secondly I have completed the Student Grant form and sent it in, Cant see why I wont get it but Im still worried

    I'm 20 and my parents are still eligible for back-to-school, so you should be fine there. Ring the VEC to check the status of the application anyway.

    You can also call into Sile in the CHART office which is located beside the main reception area in the Atrium part of the campus. They offer additional support to students in addition to any grants you may receive.
