LCD TV - Green tint

Hi,

I have a LCD TV with a very bad green tint on screen, People are all green and sometimes also a green background. Any suggestions on how to fix it. Tried adjusting settings and also removed any electrical items away from it. Still no joy and can't watch the tv.

Is it on all channels or just those connected with a scart lead?

Hi,

It's on all channels. It will flick of and you have a normal view and then it comes back with the green tint again. People look like the incredible hunk. Can't seem to find a solution and TV is only a couple of months old, can't find receipt so shop won't even look at it!

Any suggestions?

Did you pay by credit card? If so you could prove that you did buy it from them.

Have you checked your scart connections are secure?

Hi Brightspark,

I have checked all connections, it is just a tv in the bedroom so just connected to the basic NTL connection. No scart connections. My mam can't find the receipt so the shop (Dunnes Stores) will do nothing with it. It's like a green tint but it won't let me change the tint settings on the tv as they seem to be blocked from being changed. Really dissappointed with it as it is a LCD TV/DVD combo, wonder would that have something to do with it.

What make and model is it?

Tell them that it's only a few months old,and even though you don't have a receipt,demand they check it out by the serial number,companies can tell how old the tv is by that number.
