Has anyone ordered off Evike and Airsoftgi before? Everything go ok? Or do they even deliver here? Or are there better US shops to order from?

I'd stay away from Evike if I was you. Loads of people have had problems with them. I couldn't even get them to respond to my mail.
Can't really comment on Airsoftgi, but AFAIK they're alright to deal with.

Bear in mind; if you're ordering from a US shop; that you'll most likely be dealing with no/mutilated trademarks and orange-tipped barrels. Unless of course, the shop is ordering directly from an Asian supplier for you. Either way; ask.

I've ordered from Evike recently and got them pretty swiftly. I'm well aware of the problems related with Evike, seems like they are doing a shape up of their ordering system (getting items through the shopping process and posted as quickly as possible).

If you have to order from Evike pay with PayPal, if you find that there has been no activity and there is only 10 days before the PayPal cover runs out open a dispute then.

I used Evike once and had no problem. I used Paypal.

I'll be honest thats the first time I've ever heard someone say something good about Evike :D. I guess they're getting their act together. Which is good to hear as I saw a very nice vest on their site that I can't seem to find anywhere else.

There's absolutely no reason to import form America.

If you want to import, order from Hong Hong. They're cheaper than the US as you don't have to pay for the US import and sales taxes (which would be included in the cost of the gun). Plus you don't get stupid orange tips and obliterated trademarks.

But he's not ordering a gun and you'll get hit with VAT, etc ordering from anywhere outside the EU.

Indeed, but why pay it twice?? Unless it's been produced in the US whoever imported it into America has had to pay the relevant duties and taxes on import into the US - they'll then include those costs in the retail price to pass the cost on to the end consumer... This doesn't just apply to guns but to all goods...

If you're buying from HK you're not paying those duties on anything produced within China, and whatever duties have been included on Japaneese/Taiwaneese etc goods can't be too large as the prices are still rock bottom and cheaper than the US prices...

For anyone trying to buy from a US retailer that dont ship outside the US it is possible .
Wanted to buy a few parts from AirsoftGi and with a little research I found Bongo International . I didn't used them but it seems straight forward . They give you a US address so the you can buy goods in the us and then they forward it on to you .
