As the seller, you need to complete the RF101 with the new owners details, both sign it, and you need to send to Shannon. (address should be on the form)
Takes a week or so to process.

Selling a vehicle registered on or after 1 January 1993

If you sell your vehicle privately, part B of the Vehicle Licensing Certificate, (Vehicle Registration Certificate for post-April 2004 vehicles) which you would have received when you bought the vehicle, should be completed and returned to the Driver and Vehicle Computer Services Division of the Department of Transport. The new details will be registered and the certificate will be sent to the new owner. The Vehicle Registration Certificate, which you also get when you buy a pre-April 2004 vehicle, should be given to the new owner at the time of the sale.

The VLC/VRC mentioned above is the same RF101 document referred to by Max Power1 .

Read the form, it's quite simple :)

New owner's name and address, signature, seller signs, job done.

Its on the back of the log book (assuming the car isnt ancient). If you dont have the log book then youll need to send off to Shannon for it.

It's the document that you should have in your possession that says you own the car.
There should be a place on the back of it for changing ownership.

    +1

If the OP is not in posession of the RF101, a replacement can be ordered, i think it costs €12

Yup, if you don't have the log book you'll need to fill out a RF134.
