We are heading over this week for a holiday/scouting mission on everything in Nerja, getting a planner for just the legal bits and church booking but looking to take care of rest ourselves.
Going away so not to spend the mad money here so cost is a factor.

    Few questions:
    1. Anyone have reception in the Toboso hotel?
    2. Where did everyone everyone stay?
Looking at renting villa's for family
    3. Anyone know good place for flowers or maybe guitar player for church?
    4. Toboso a has an irish bar out the back prob move to there after the dinner for afters is it worth getting a free bar for a few hours?
    5. Day after looking at having either a BBQ on the beach for everyone or even a boat trip is there any?

    Thanks!

    Congrats on getting married.

Myself and my fiance are booked to get married in spain next may not far from nerja actually in Estepona.

If you dont mind me asking how much your planner is charging for your service. We are using a planner too and she is organising everything for us.
Its 500euro for basic package and 800euro for premium service so we said for the extra 300 quid it was worth it for her to look after everything.
Weve been over already a few months ago and are going again october.

Apologies forgot to answer some of your questions. You should be able to negotiate afree bar for a decent price with the bar/hotel you are using.were planning on afree bar ourselves and have got a good deal too.

I attended a wedding in Nerja last summer and we loved it so much we went back this year. The reception was on in a restaurant in the mountains (sorry I can't remember the name of it) but I know many of the relations stayed in the Toboso hotel and loved it! The Irish pub that it's attached to is Cocharan's and it's great craic if there is a big group of you there.

My family (there were 5 of us) stayed in a villa in Ladera del Mar, which is about a 5 minute drive from the centre of Nerja. The villa was beautiful with it's own pool and air conditioning. We booked it through a company called Gill Johnson I think.

Not sure about BBQ on the beach but I think Cochrans do BBQs sometimes so maybe you could contact them about the day after the wedding. Hope this helps and congratulations on getting married :)

I think €250 for the basic Legal Church part, and i think a high 900 for full planning!

Just back had a lovely time perfect spot for our wedding and booked Toboso for wedding reception.

Just looking for after dinner entertainment anyone use or see the Flying Dolphins over there?
Or a spanish guitarist for during and after dinner to keep the day moving along until band?
