Where to repair Laptop in Dub 6 area?

    Hi,

    My screen has gone on my HP laptop. I brought it to a shop in town that tried to replace screen but found a new screen didn't work either so they reckon it's to do with the inverter. They ordered in one but found it didn't work and said it would take 3 weeks to get another in so they recommended we go elsewhere.

    Problem is I wouldn't know where to go and wouldn't know if they'd try rip me off either.

    Would anyone have any recommendations on where to bring the laptop for a new inverter?

    I have a number for a guy I brought my laptop to about a year or so ago.
    Very decent, did hardware repair & serviced laptop etc for ~€100. Rang me & confirmed any work he was going to do prior to doing it so no unexpected surprises. He was based close to baggot street bridge along the canal. I Can't remember the name of the company, but I still have the phone number. If your interested PM me & I'll send it on to you.
