I was wondering do any curly heads use a hood dryer to dry their curly hair.

For best results for me, I naturally air dry my hair but this means washing my hair in the evening before 7 in order for it to be dry by bed time!! Which takes hours

I don't like the results I get from a defuser hair dryer as it makes my hair frizzy.

I was looking through the Argos catalogue (not sure if I can mention Argos?? mods delete if needed) and they had this hood thing connected to to a hair dryer which I though may be the answer to my problem!!

Just wondering does anyone do this before I run out the door and purchase yet another hair styling product??:D

You can get a diffuser attachment which can help with the frizziness, though still not as good as air drying. If I wash my hair at night, I'll let it air dry a bit, then diffuser-blow dry until it's still a bit damp. If I then tie it back in a loose plait before bed it looks great in the morning, results may vary depending on your hair type though so give it a go and see how you get on :)

    Well now that is interesting
I have never tried platting my hair when damp or semi damp.....

I think I have won the battle with hair products I use, and I am really happy with the air drying results but maybe I will try your way tonight and see how is goes

do you do a french plate or ???

I rarely blow dry my hair but when i do i use a de-ionising hair drier (without diffuser). Doing it that way i can still flip my hair upside down to dry the underside without ending up looking like I've just gotten electrocuted :D
