    hey there,

Anyone have a rough estimate of how much it would cost to get a track mixed pls? Any recommendations of producers too (for electronic music w/vocals) would be great.

    thanks.

Anywhere between 50 and 15K euros.

yeah I probably should have been more specific cause it's like asking "how long is a piece of string". So would anyone know of a decent producer who wouldn't break the bank....to mix a track....for an unknown band?!

    Well...

Here's some questions that might help you find someone:

    how was it recorded
    how are the performances
    how long is it
    is it pop-y
would you spend as much as say, 150?
    whats the deadline
    is it for a label

the more info the greater your chances of interesting someone...

    :)

its gonna take 2 days in a studio so you'd be roughly lookin about 400/500 - 1 day for editing/mixing, 1 day for more mixing and revisions.

unless you get someone to do it at home.. but you'll get exactly what you pay for. if some lad mixes it in his bedroom for 50 euro then it'll most likely sound like it was mixed for 50 euro.

if you're interested check myspace.com/damagedtrax or myspace.com/rhythmtechnologies for my releases and mixes.

I reckon I could do it in a day pending hearing it.
    Sent you a PM
    Michael

Barry AKA Damagedtrax would also do a very good job.
He has lots of dance music experience.
