Seems the story that the News of the World has been forced to sit on may involve Monty, a dominatrix and a lot of cross dressing. Just what the Euro team needs heading into a Ryder Cup. The next few weeks may prove to be very entertaining.

Absolutly right "it's nobody's business", but it's very naive of you if you don't think a story like this breaking on the eve of the matches will not have an effect on the team. It's already starting to take over press conferences as it did last Wed in the states when Pavin had to step in and turn matters back to golf. Still think it will be a laugh if Monty has to defend this if there is any truth in it.....

Yeah, fair point. Is it just me or can a major sporting event not take place nowadays without being rocked by scandle. Guess it's as a result of the level of media coverage taking place around them.

It's going to be massive news. Every press conference will have questions about it. Every article on the Ryder Cup will have a reference to it. Hopefully it won't affect the team too much-will need some strong vice-captains there in case it does. If gophur isn't interested in it then thats fine but unfortunately idle gossip makes the celeb/sportstar world go round.

Well done to Monty for taking some of the heat off Tiger.....

THe ryder cup could be a nightmare for Tiger because the WAGs are all there and I'm sure they'll be looking disapprovingly at Tiger and there'll be loads of photo ops of players with wives and Tiger with no wife.

But Monty's sorted all that out.....

Yeh, shame on Monty. He's got alot to answer for hasn't he. Regardless of what anyone thinks and whether it floats your boat or not, Monty is entitled to a private life and he's entitled to do what he wants in his own time. By all accounts the pictures are a few years old. If the rumours are true, he's not broken any laws or hurt anyone here. Although admittedly the alleged pictures are likely to hurt a few people's eyes!

But yeh, shame on Monty for preventing Tiger from feeling the full wrath of the judge and jury that is joe public.

I'm not saying shame on him, but it's just brilliant how he's managed to become the tabloid fodder. I dont care what he gets up to, even if it does sound hilarious.

There is something about Monty, maybe its his personality or pomposity or inability to shut up, or grumpiness or something, that seems to attract this kind of tabloid shyte.
I'm sure the likes of Woosnam and Torrance have not led perfect lives but the press don't seem to go for them for some reason.

And that's the fact of it - the press choose to go for someone.

lol. I can't see how this would negatively affect the team. If anything, the slagging and messing about it in the dressingrooms will help the team bond better

come on, can any one of us here say that we don't sometimes dress up in lacy corsets and suspenders, strap on a ball gag, and have an aging lady in leather tweek our nipples with metal clamps attached to a car battery?
