Deferral - Urgent

    Hi
I've just been offered a place at Trinity (yay!), but I want to defer for a year, mainly for financial reasons. I'm now drafting a letter to request to defer and I would really appreciate any advice!

I plan to continue working for a year to save towards accommodation and living expenses at uni, particularly as my family are not able to give any financial support.

Can anyone advise me of Trinity's attitude to deferrals?
Am I expected to go into any further detail about my plans?

Also, does anyone know to whom I should address the letter i.e 'Dear Admissions Officer'.?

Thank you so much in advance :o

    Laura

I would ring the Admissions Office directly if I were you. The letter could get lost etc.
