Help needed please im so confused!!

    ok so i got 440 in the lc but with the help of the hear scheme i got offered a place for bess in tcd . what i dont understand is that was fourth on my list i had primary teaching in the various places first second and third , the points were only 470 for teaching and i didnt get offered any of them?why did this happen? will i definitly get a round 2 offer and will hear apply in round 2?:(

    What are the criteria for being accepted under the Hear scheme? I'm not familiar with the details. As it stands you are 30 points short for teaching.

    Which teaching courses did you apply for?

    What may have happened is that other HEAR applicants, that had applied for the same courses as you, may have gotten higher points than and thus it would have been offered to them, and then perhaps the places may have filled up?

    Wait for the second round maybe?
